0.5 The Reluctant Marquess - Can the love of a good woman change a man?
Marquess Hugh Seaworth is far too busy enjoying himself in London to think about matrimony. Despite being next in line to a Dukedom, Hugh wants to get as much enjoyment out of life as he can before he is forced to settle down.
However, his father, the current Duke of Westbrook, has other plans.
When an unknown young lady steps out of the carriage and into his life, Hugh is forced to reconsider his plans for London. Miss Marjory Newton, daughter of Viscount Harrington, apparently needs a husband and Hugh finds himself encumbered with that responsibility.
Having no choice but to help Miss Newton, Hugh quickly presents her to a few suitable gentlemen, only to realize that matters such as matrimony take longer than just a few hasty introductions. 1. A Rogue for a Lady - Amelia Seaworth, eldest daughter of the Duke of Westbrook, has always been the responsible one, always caring for her sisters and for their father since their mother passed away some years ago.
When her father confides in her that he is not altogether well and, therefore, wishes each of his daughters to marry very soon, Amelia responds with her usual gravitas, knowing she must be the first one to find herself a suitable husband.
Unfortunately, the one man Amelia finds herself drawn to, while dashingly handsome, is also arrogant and distant with a seemingly less than perfect reputation. However, no matter how hard she tries, she simply cannot stop her growing affections for Lord Northfell, even though he constantly confuses her. And somehow she cannot help the feeling that he is keeping something from her.
Love grows yet whispered secrets threaten to separate them. A scheming cousin, blackmail and family responsibilities push Amelia into a spiral of confusion and a sense of betrayal. But with her father confessing he is not long for the world and declaring his wishes that he see his daughters all be wed, Jessica must reevaluate her future.
Now with Jessica's serious older sister Amelia wed, Jessica is left with the pressure to be next. She hates the thought of marriage though, and worse still is the man everyone seems to be pushing her towards.
George Eccles is the last man she wants to marry, and Jessica is determined to make him hate her. As usual though, fate makes other plans, and as hard as she tries, love creeps its way into both their hearts.
But a personality and military life like George’s easily serves in the making of enemies, and with Jessica in possession of a tempestuous mind herself, along with being the daughter of one of the wealthiest Dukes in England, there is little chance their union won’t be without more than the usual difficulties.
3. Rescued by an Earl - Jacintha Seaworth is wise, complex and watchful. A beautiful woman, she nevertheless prefers to sit out from the dances, preferring to watch people and their interactions.
She really couldn’t have chosen a childhood friend more different from her than Henry Musgrave, brother to family friend Claudia, and quite a social ladies’ man.
Now that Jacintha is the next daughter in line to fulfill her father’s wishes of seeing all of his daughters married before his illness takes him, it’s time for her to grow up and actually evaluate her feelings for Henry.
It’s true that Alexander Slate, naval captain and Earl of Highbury, is a much more suitable match, but Jacintha will never be able to deny that there is something there inside of her for Henry. For all his shortcomings, maybe, just maybe, he could become a changed man.
If only the path to love for at least one of the Seaworth daughters could be free of doubt or worry.
Somehow, it doesn’t even look like sweet and kind hearted Jacintha will be spared a dramatic and harrowing road to love.

Surely she wouldn’t be expected to find a husband before her father’s passing as well.
But it seems her father’s dying wish to see his daughters married well before he passed extended to her too. Only, left on her own, she isn’t exactly the type to foster a social life helpful in finding a suitable husband.
As always, her father, the Duke, is more than ready to see to things himself. Equally as common, as it seems for the Seaworth sisters, is that just as she relents to settle for the quickest and easiest match, the least likely suitor comes her way to make her feel things she never thought she could.
Now, pursued by Luke Seaworth, a distant cousin, Harmonia finds herself inadvertently falling into the arms of Philip Marshal, the newly-instated Earl of Swansea.
