1. Happy Endings
You’re here for a happy ending, right? Ohh…You thought I was talking about the happy ending where you have two people who go from rags to a fairy tale ending. If that’s the happy ending you’re looking for, you might need to look elsewhere. But if you’re the kind looking for the other style of happy endings then kick back, grab a blankie, and ‘buy now with one click.’
Miles, a powerful mage, thinks life is right where he wants it. With a werewolf, a witch, and a demon in his house, what could go wrong? When fifteen people die at the same time in different locations, things start to look a bit bleak. The police are looking for someone to help, someone worthy of helping, but instead they get stuck with Miles and his demon Havoc, whose weakness is any woman that looks his way. They have been together for hundreds of years and, when things start to go wrong, they may be the only two that can save humanity. Which is really sad because they’re definitely not cut out to save humanity. When an attack leaves Miles’s life in Havoc’s hands the two start to question if there’s something more between them other than three hundred years of bickering. Along with a forest spirit, a perverted minotaur, and the two human detectives (that wish they’d have asked for help from anyone else), Miles and Havoc try to find the answer to their happy ending. No, not that happy ending you pervert. Okay maybe there’s that kind of happy ending too.
2. Freedom With You
Life isn’t easy being a Native American in the 1800s.
Ashkii has lived most of his life alone. He is a Native American living a world that doesn’t accept his beliefs, his culture, or his ideas. In order to blend in, he has been forced to give up everything that made him who he is. Still, he struggles to find a place in this world. When an opportunity arises for him to prove himself as a horse trainer, Ashkii realizes that this might be the only place left for him, especially when he is accepted by the man that owns the ranch.
Life is perfect for Ryland. His ranch excels with the constant flow of cattle and horses. His days are spent herding cattle and caring for his land. But Ryland has a secret that could ruin his life. In such a suppressing time, Ryland’s beliefs are not accepted. Together, Ryland and Ashkii begin to search for what truly matters in life, even when it is against everyone else’s beliefs. Together, they can begin to understand what truly makes each of them unique.
