2. Keto's Tale - Don't swim in my waters...
I've got a bad reputation, and all because of my jackass brother. Yes, I'm known as the mother of all sea monsters. And yes, I can control powerful creatures who kill and destroy on my command.
But no, I'm not actually in charge. I'm my brother's slave.
So, life sucks just about as much as it possibly can. At least that's what I thought until my brother decides I'm more useful sacrificed to angry sea dragons who despise mermaids. And when I see gargoyles heading straight for me, all I'm left wondering is who will kill me first, the winged monster-hunters, or the angry sea dragons.
What I don't expect? The gargoyles don't know who or what I am. So maybe, just maybe, if I can hide my identity long enough, I'll survive. But it might take a little distraction to accomplish. The thing is, I don't think I mind distracting four hard-as-stone gargoyles who can't stop staring. As long as at the end of this, I don't end up with my head on a platter.
3. Celaeno's Fate - Everyone hates a harpy…
For the record, I don’t drag people to Hades. I’m not a guardian of the Underworld. And I’m not an evil monster. I’m just… a shifter who happens to control birds. Dangerous? Yes. A monster? No.
Unfortunately, most people disagree with me. For some stupid reason.
So, it’s no surprise when monster hunters, the stoic gargoyles themselves, track me down. What is a surprise? The gargoyles are kind of sexy.
But unfortunately, they haven’t kidnapped me for bedroom fun. They want to use my abilities to stop a curse and save a town. Easy right? It’s actually pretty damn hard. And then there’s the other thing, I’m starting to think after my long life, this little adventure might just be the thing that kills.
4. Cerberus Unleashed - Hellhounds have feelings too…
If Hades thinks he’s going to drag me back to the Underworld, he might just learn that this fiery hound is more than just his daughter. Or his pet. Without my leash, this bi*** has a bite that’ll make him piss his godly pants.
And maybe just maybe make him rethink that whole chaining me to the Underworld for eternity, decision. I can hope, right?
The thing is, I know I’ll never actually be free of Hades. No matter how much I try to blend into the human world, a creature as wild and dangerous as me just can’t. That means my goal will always be just to stay one step ahead of him. To never get distracted. And never get attached.
If I do those things, I might get to remain free.
So then I must be a complete moron, because the second the three men move into the crappy apartment across from mine, I can’t seem to stay away from them. It isn’t love. Not even like. It’s more that they seem wild, untamed, and innocent in an unexpected way—just like me.
I’ve been called every name under the sun, but the one that rings the truest is monster. I am a monster. Dangerous to everyone around me. So even though I can’t seem to fight my attraction to three strange men, I will. Because no matter what people call me, I won’t drag mortals into a fight among gods and monsters.
Only, what if the three men are more than what they seem? And what if Hades isn’t the only one hunting me?

Thousands of years ago I made a mistake. A terrible mistake that cost me everything. My dearest husband. My beloved children.
Even my humanity.
My curse makes me dangerous to all those around me, so I’ve secluded myself where I can never hurt another person again.
But the Fates have other plans for me that don’t include hiding for eternity. Three gargoyles I killed have returned from the dead to seek, not only revenge against me, but also to remove the curse I’ve inadvertently passed onto them. But if they can’t provide me with the blood I need to quench my hunger, all of humanity will be in danger on our path.
And so, we strike a deal: they’ll provide me with blood, and I’ll help to seek the answers to end this curse.
I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was afraid. Of trusting my enemies, yes, but more than anything, of trusting myself. I am a bloodthirsty monster that can shift into a dangerous form, that feeds on blood, that kills. Am I a fool to think I could be anything more?
6. Shade's Secret - I died of violence, and I was born of violence...
It's a strange thing to live again. My memories of before are nothing but shadows, like me. And yet, I've done what no Shade before me has done, I've severed my bond to the Underworld. As Cerberus told me to do.
She said it was the only way I would be free.
She didn't tell me what to do with my freedom.
They say I'm a monster. Meant to obey. Meant to bow down to Hades. But when a coven of vampires gives me a purpose, I finally feel less lost. Yet when they take a handsome gargoyle prisoner and give him to me as a gift, my life becomes more complicated.
Four handsome gargoyles need my help to survive against the vampires. But should I believe their honeyed kisses and soft touches? Or does everyone in this new world simply seek to use me for my gifts?
The Underworld was filled with danger, but earth has secrets,secrets that just might get me killed.
7. Hecate's Spell - Being Hades’s prisoner isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…
It’s been longer than I can remember since I’ve seen sunlight, since I’ve felt a breeze… since I’ve been free. Imprisoned deep in the Underworld by an arrogant god, I’ve counted the minutes until my escape.

Life gave me a bad deck of cards. I was born in a prison. Escaped, leaving my mother behind, and came to the real world alone, only to discover that my demon-half had a hunger I couldn’t control.
So, I was free… but not free. I was forced to haunt crossroads and end the lives of anyone with a dark heart who stopped.
And then, suddenly, I’m released.
With nothing else to do, and a world suddenly full of monsters, I decide to hunt the assholes. But when I meet a group of men, psycho gargoyles and a slightly less insane phoenix, I don’t know if we should be enemies or friends. Technically, we’re mortal enemies, but these guys are like no monster hunters I’ve met before, and I’m nothing like the creatures they hunt.
At least in my humble opinion.
But unfortunately for us, that’s not our only problem. And when our lives are on the line, we have to decide whether we can escape the shadows of our pasts, or if the evil inside of us is too strong to resist.
9. Forbidden Shifter - Do monsters have midlife crises? Because I’m pretty sure I’m having one…
My kind bring trouble and chaos wherever they go. I can’t change that; it’s just the way things are. So rather than continue to watch the people around me being impacted by my curse, I did the only thing I thought I could, I stepped away from the world.
I love my cottage. And my life.
But it can get a little lonely.
So when my friend mixes up a special coffee, one that could make my life a little more fulfilling, I drink it eagerly, ready for whatever life might throw at me. The last thing I expect is for three gorgeous men to show up at my doorstep wanting me.
Not that I mind. Not one bit. If this is a midlife crisis, well, I think I’m going to enjoy it.
