Reed Security Series by Robin Leaf (1-4)
Requirements: epub reader, 1.5 Mb
Overview:Robin Leaf lives in Texas with her husband and four kids (three human and one furry). When she’s not reading romance novel a day, she can be found watching Supernatural (and drooling over both Dean and Sam equally), playing ball with her furry child, or cleaning up dog hair.
Genre: Romance

1. Back Off - The first time I saw my feisty angel across the dance floor, I knew she was the one for me. Cristiana swayed her hips so divinely, that even at seventeen, I’d have promised to treasure her forever, to become a human shield for her if I had to.
That’s what a guardian would do for his angel, and I’ve always been the protector.
But life had other plans.
When a second chance with Cristiana arises, I take full advantage. I make a promise to stop at nothing to be with her.
But promises can be hard to keep.
The first time I saw my hermoso devil walk across the parking lot, it terrified me to think he could be the one. Noah’s protective ways thrilled me as much as my dancing, but fear told me he’d get in the way of my dream career.
So, I did what any scared dancer would do.
I pushed him away and danced the other direction.
Now that we have a second chance, I won't let him break away. I promise myself I won’t be the one to back off.
But promises are sometimes broken.
2. Out of the Blue - Let’s just take a quick inventory of my life.
I recently got divorced, fell on my ass in front of a hot guy, scared a baby stripper during a lap dance, flirted while returning an email, and gained a stalker.
Oh yeah, my new bodyguard makes my lady bits clench, and of course, he’s off limits. Douglass, Dugger to his friends, has a strict company policy he won’t break. All the time spent in these close quarters just solidifies the fact that behind the hot, bad-boy façade is the perfect man.
Jeez. How long does it take to find a friggin’ stalker? About as long as it takes for hearts to get involved.
3. Taken Down - I’ll admit we didn’t get off on the right foot. She caught me dancing on the job. Then, she caught her boyfriend in a… let’s call it a compromising position with a tattoo client. My effort to diffuse the situation probably looked like I was choosing his side, and when I gave a questionable compliment, I may have made a bad situation worse.
My social ineptitude aside, I think Jasmine is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.
Yeah, she doesn’t like me much, but the time comes when she does need me.
I’ll admit I’m not a typical hero. I don’t go on military missions, run into burning buildings, or shoot enemies from far away – well, unless video games count. My weapon of choice is my laptop’s keyboard. Unfortunately, girls don’t flock to the quirky guy with ADHD and three post-grad degrees.
However, this girl doesn’t need the stereotypical hero. She needs me and my skills. I find I want to be her hero. I want to rescue her from all the bad things that have happened in her world and lay the future at her feet. I just have to convince her to trust me, especially since her life just might depend on it.
4. Fallen Over - Since my husband’s death, life hasn’t exactly been roses and cupcakes. I’ve barely existed for the past few years, looking up from the bottom of the grief pit I created after losing him. He’s gone. My friends abandoned me. I can hardly keep it together, but I do… for our daughter.
When I run into Michael, a guy from work who seems to be living in his own pit of despair, we forge a friendship, making our pits seem shallower and life worth living again.
He found my smile.
He awakened my fun side.
If I’m not careful, he’ll awaken… other parts of me, except I need him to remain just a friend. I still feel like I’m married. Plus, losing someone else will destroy me. My heart says “Access Denied,” but Michael is a security expert who can hack into any secure facility.
With Michael around, more might be at risk than just my heart.
