The easy part? Growing horns, claws, and silver skin.
The hard part? Partnering with an overbearing Obosian male.
Lieutenant Emma Johnson has played every possible undercover role as one of earth's elite intelligence agents. But the jolts of heat around Qrurk make her ask: did she get her new body accessories to track down the bad guys? Or to beguile her new partner?
Qrurk, head of Obosian Intelligence, has been unable to stop the assassination attempts on his brother, Precep of Agra-Obos. He resents the order to involve the human woman, certain she can not pass as Obosian. But mostly, his mating reaction screams for him to take her, and he has never wanted a mate. He's nearly certain.
When they travel into the underbelly of Obos together, both are afraid, but not of the assassins they will encounter.
4. JHERGH - Interplanetary pilot Sophia Delgado has
survived alien lizard slavers. ✓
adapted (somewhat) to a planet of decent alien alpha males. ✓
But for a while now, she's just been going along to get along on Planet Obos. She gravitated toward the middle Savo brother, Jhergh, because he's a little less bossy than the other males. And, bonus, he lets her fly the occasional aircraft. And, okay, he's just as hot, if not hotter, than the other brothers.
When a routine trip north suddenly goes south, they need to pool their skills to survive. She soon learns there's a whole new wild side to her 'mellow' alien and a whole new way to fly.
