Faust’s reunion with his brother, Konrad, was interrupted by an armada from Drokan and Koros, the Deity of Solace. When Faust was stabbed, he fell into a deep sleep only to wake in the very kingdom that attacked him—Drokan. Alone and without allies, Faust must navigate through Drokan’s hostile environment to retrieve his gate.
Patches in Faust’s memory leave him in an unfavorable position when he’s accused of stealing a map. With his magic unstable, Faust finds himself in the care of Cian, a page from the Guild of Antiquity, who carries many secrets. Faust must stay out of the hands of Drokan Knights and Koros’s Servants of Power, all while hunting for his gate and Sortiris without Ignas or Aris by his side.
The Kingdom of Drokan is divided and hostile toward the other kingdoms of Alimphis and holds dark secrets from the past. Faust must sift through lies and secrets as Qinn’s memories grow more vivid, pointing to tasks he must finish. If he does not find Sortiris, his soul will become lost, and the future of Alimphis will head toward ruin. Is Faust strong enough to stop it?
