1. Alien Goddess: Sarah - To assure the future human ambassador on Makaen is safe, she has to bond to a Makaen male.
Free-spirited Sarah is anything but diplomatic. But to end the war between humans and an alien race called the Makaen, she’s persuaded to accept the position of ambassador, which requires bonding to a Makaen warrior and living with him on his planet. Sarah is far from enthusiastic about marrying a dominant sex-crazed brute. Furthermore, a bonded female is supposed to be demure and obedient. Words that definitely aren't in her translator.
Kealen Bakan, commander of the most powerful warship of the Makaen's military, agrees to bond to one of his former enemies out of a sense of duty. His hate for her species burns deep inside, but after touching her he knows one thing for sure: the human female belongs to him, and he's never going to let her go. He soon experiences that fighting in a war might be less dangerous than handling this stubborn female.
Their first contact is electrifying- literally, and raises the question of whether they were brought together by divine intervention.

2. Alien Goddess: Kat - When you desperately need to escape from a more-than-dubious space station you’re stranded on and the least insane option is sneaking aboard a Makaen ship, you know you’re screwed. Big-time!
The mere thought of being in the same space as Makaen makes Kat’s stomach churn for the alien warrior race hate humans intensely. Yes, Kat is also half-Cassidi, but her human genes are definitely more dominant, especially on the outside. But to help a friend in need she has no other choice. So, sneaking aboard a Makaen freighter it is.
It’s no surprise that the plan backfires and they get caught. Duh, it was her brother’s idea after all. What does baffles her is that it takes only one electrifying touch from the ship’s captain—a stranger belonging to a species she was taught to stay as far away from as possible—to make her melt into a needy puddle of goo.
Refusing to bond with a human, Dykan leaves Makaen-Prime and his family behind to try his luck as a captain on a freighter transporting mostly illegal merchandise. When he finds stowaways aboard his ship his first thought is to throw them all out of the nearest airlock. But one look into the female’s gorgeous begging eyes is enough to change his mind completely. Even though he doesn’t understand why he is so fascinated by this human female—he has more than enough reason to hate her species—no self-respecting space pirate would refuse what she offers. Too late he realizes that she’s more than he bargained for.

3. Alien Goddess: Eden - Eden’s lifelong dream to join an off-planet archaeological expedition turns into a living nightmare when her vessel gets boarded by Makaen—the alien race humans have been at war with for more than a decade. She’s hunted down and taken prisoner by one seriously pissed-off and fierce-looking Makaen. To make matters worse, he even dares to accuse her of belonging to a smuggling ring. Okay, she was holding a stolen relic when they met, but that was nothing more than a big misunderstanding. It’s evident the alien doesn’t think much of her species. At all. Yet, there’s some kind of weird connection between them even her hyper-rational mind can’t explain, but it’s driving her crazy. The stoic alien has the ability to switch her brain off with just one smoldering gaze. And even though he’s doing his utmost to fight it, his eyes and actions tell her it’s affecting him too.
Damaen Bakan, governor of one of the Makaen colonies, lost the most important thing in his life by a cowardly act committed by humans. Lacking both empathy and compassion, he has no scruples to make every human he encounters pay. Until Eden crosses his path. The female is unlike any other human he has captured and interrogated. Damaen’s trying to withstand her pull, but it’s so incredibly strong he fears he might not be able to resist her for long. And that's bad. Very bad. After all, aside from being human, she’s also a criminal of the worst kind. Two very good reasons to avoid her. The last thing he wants is for the female to revive something inside him he assumed was long dead and buried. And then there is the small matter of her possibly being a gift to him from his deity. Yes, the gods must surely hate him.

4. Alien Goddess: Jin - No good deed...
JIn absolutely loves her job, working as a pilot and aerospace engineer. But it has it's lesser moments. For instance, when a friend implores her to fly across space and pick up the son of a Makaen senator from a holiday planet. Even though Jin would much rather poke herself in the eye with a rusty nail, she very reluctantly agrees. What sounded like a straightforward task ends in total chaos. Soon she realizes that there's more to the senator's son than meets the eye. And to survive the pandemonium she finds herself in, Jin has no other choice than to place her trust in this exceptional–and also annoyingly alluring alien.
To the outside world, Noan is the frivolous youngest son of the prestigious Prem-kai Bakan. But his laid-back attitude is nothing more than pretense. No one knows how much the secret he's forced to keep hidden torments his spirit. Unlike his brothers, Noan is destined to live a lonely and solitary existence. At least, that's what he believes until Jin crashes into his life. The human female manages to turn his entire world upside down. Even though she fights their attraction, Noan is adamant to prove he's worthy of being her mate. And the best way to start is by annihilating their common enemies.
