Overview: I was born and live in Northern California equidistant between the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Nevada mountains. In addition to writing, I enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking, and theater. I am employed by a major west coast distribution company as a computer specialist and web designer. Having dreamt of being a writer from a very young age, I have published poems, short stories, and numerous nonfiction articles on topics ranging from cooking to computer science. In 2001, I compiled, edited and published Late Bloomers: Awakening to Lesbianism After Forty, a collection of coming-out stories. Combining my love of writing with my favorite outdoor activity, hiking, I co-authored a hiking guide in 2005 with my life partner. This was published by Gem Guides Books. In 2008, after a hiatus of over a decade, I returned to my first love, fiction, and wrote a lesbian romance novel, which was accepted for publication by Bella Books. I hope to turn this new success into a long-term second career.

Something to Believe
Sometimes “The One” comes along more than once in a lifetime.
When Lauren Keegan met Cassie Burkett on a Yangtze River cruise, they immediately clicked. Cruise over, they kept in touch, and rapidly became close friends. The following year they’re reunited for a visit which ends with a spontaneous kiss that surprises them both. That one kiss destroys their friendship, sending them back to their lives—and their partners—heartsick and remorseful. Ten years later everything—and nothing—has changed. While the path is now clear for them to reignite the old flame, the time still seems all wrong. Cassie is unable to break through the emotional walls separating her from both her estranged son and her rediscovered love, while Lauren is overcome with revelations about her late partner that shatter her belief in destiny and romance. Challenged by the past and besieged in the present, the only thing going for them is the one thing they’ve denied all these years: love.

Two on the Aisle
Act 1, Scene 1. Ashland, Oregon. Enter WREN LANDRY.
Wren has happily fled San Francisco and her nationally-known work as secretive food critic Eno Threlkeld for a few weeks’ vacation to visit her twin brother, Raven. Enter RAVEN, thrilled to be playing Beatrice in this season’s Much Ado About Nothing. Enter SOPHIE WARD, former investment banker, now goat farmer and cheese monger, followed by a ruthless celebrity chef with a grudge against Eno, a zealous cupcake competitor, a baker who makes aebleskivers everybody covets, a family of Danish immigrants with a fishy back story, and a dubious seer whose predictions might just hold the key to averting disaster. In this mixed-up story of mistaken identities, mysterious loves, miscues, merriment and mayhem, love runs amok on the streets of a Shakespearean festival, and not even the goats on the Tallulah Rose Farm know how it all ends.

Spring Tide
Haunted by an unspeakable tragedy, ex-cop Stef Byers is headed for the Sacramento River Delta and her newly-purchased houseboat. Her plans are to get the craft seaworthy and then sail into the snaking waterways—alone. Life for a veterinarian in Stillwater Bay is good. Jackie Townsend is fond of the quirky inhabitants and loves the natural beauty. The newcomer working on the dilapidated boat could become much more than a random acquaintance, but it’s clear that the moody Stef harbors a grim secret and wants to get lost in her pain, not found by romance. The waterways of the Delta tangle and weave for hundreds of miles, hiding secret coves, serene vistas and fragile depths. But they are no match for the tides of a woman’s heart.

The Other Megan
A failed relationship has sent registered nurse Jaye Northrup fleeing from home and looking for sanctuary. She finds it in a remote village on the Caribbean island of Isla Santuario where she and dentist Megan Willett (Willie) create a tropical haven ministering to the poor. Jaye finally has everything in her life under control...until Willie is kidnapped by drug traffickers. In reporting the kidnapping, the news media confuses Willie with another American woman named Megan Willett—a California college student on the island for Spring Break. Fun loving and carefree, Megan couldn’t be more different from Willie. When she meets the elusive and beautiful Nurse Jaye, her long repressed desires for women resurface with a vengeance. Suddenly Jaye finds her orderly life turned upside down. Not only is the fate of her friend completely unknown, but now the Other Megan seems to show up everywhere she turns. Worried deeply about Willie and fighting her attraction for the newcomer, it’s all Jaye can do to keep her wits about her before she loses her best friend—and her heart—all at the same time.
