I saw a girl without wings try to fly. My heart belonged to her from that moment on. An enemy from the past wants to take her from me. They’ll have to kill me first, and I’m not just fighting for honor. I’m fighting for the woman who sets my soul on fire. I’m fighting for love.
3. Thal - I lost my arm. For a second time. But that loss might make me whole again.
My dream was stolen from me, but an alien abduction might be the key to becoming more than I could ever dream of becoming. All I have to do is sneak on board a ship headed to a planet of cyborg gladiators and convince them to help me by proving I can fight. Only one thing stands in my way. Thal.
The warrior without wings is all kinds of hot, but he thinks I’m some kind of fragile flower and that just won’t do. I’ll show him I have what it takes to pay the price the gladiators demand for their help, but I might lose my heart along the way because Thal is used to winning whatever he sets his sights on, and his intense golden eyes are looking right at me, making me feel things I never thought I’d feel again.
I’m a wingless warrior, but a feisty woman from Earth has the ability to make my heart soar with just a smile.
