What did I get for my birthday this year? Glad you asked.
I got divorce papers. The gift that keeps on giving.
But I refuse to let my SOB ex drag me down. I have a bucket list of things I was never free to do before, and I will check off every item. Number one on that list? Going to France for the ultimate extended vacation.
Too bad I’m broke and the only word of French I know is croissant.
I had a plan for that, though. Auditing a French class was the perfect solution.
Perfect, at least, until I met him. My nerdy, straight-laced, and disturbingly sexy professor.
