0. Seized by an Alien Shifter - Zombies have us living like prisoners in our own town. Could an alien save us?
My friends and I have had enough of being stuck inside the new fence that surrounds our town, built to keep the zombies out. When a sand storm flattens the shade houses where we grow our food, we decide enough is enough, and sneak out in the early hours to find someone, anyone, to help us.
When I'm grabbed by a zombie during what's supposed to be a quick toilet break my friends flee, and I'm convinced I'm about to die.
But the zombie isn't exactly what he seems.
In fact, he's a shape-shifting alien who's crashed his spaceship, and desperately wants company.
And you know what... he's kinda cute, too.
1. Saved By an Alien Shifter - I thought a zombie apocalypse was bad enough, now I learn aliens are real too?
The last survivor of my group, I’m picking off zombies from the safety of our compound when one of the zombies stop and looks directly at me!
The zombies are mindless. They never see anything.
Somehow this one does, and it’s headed straight for me. What choice do I have except to shoot it?
But when my arrow hits, the zombie doesn’t die like it should have. Instead there’s a burst of blinding light, and when I can finally see again the rotting zombie flesh has turned into shimmering golden skin.
He looks human enough, and he's most definitely male, and he’s bleeding purple blood from a wound with my arrow sticking out of it. There’s been too much death lately, I can’t add him to the count.
But saving him is one thing, falling for him… that’s another thing all together.
He’s an alien. I can’t fall for an alien, can I?
3. Seduced by an Alien Shifter- Zombies have taken over, and my sister is convinced it's proof aliens are real too.
We’ve found shelter with a bunch of other survivors in an old private school, the property surrounded by tall brick walls and protected by a wrought iron gate. There’s enough land here to turn into gardens to feed us all, and we’ve settled down into a comfortable new normal, as long as we don’t ever go outside the gates.
There’s another downside. There are way more women than men, which means there’s no single men at all, which means I’m doomed to spend my life a lonely spinster.
But then Zak’il and Zakiex arrive, a perfect match for me and my twin sister Colette, and Zak’il and I hit it off straight away.
He’s perfect. He loves all the things I love, and he’s super interested to learn all about me, and my past.
Which would be fine, except he won’t share anything about his own.
When I catch him sneaking out one night I follow, curious about what he could possibly be hiding.
When he climbs into what honestly looks like a UFO I follow, not thinking of the consequences, never in my life expecting the space ship might be real, that it might take off into space, with me on it.
I thought my world was turned upside down when the dead started walking, but that's nothing to the upheaval I feel when I learn the secret Zak’il’s been keeping from me. Can I ever trust him again?
4. In Love with an Alien Shifter - When the zombie apocalypse started, I knew aliens couldn't be too far behind
What I didn't know is that every fantasy I've ever had would come true!
Zombies have turned the world upside down, and now my sister and I are hiding from the world with a group of other survivors, slowly building a new life, forever trapped in the walls of what was once a boarding school.
I’m attracted to Zakiex from the moment he and his brother, Zak’il arrive on the scene. Zakiex is cute, friendly AND believes aliens are out there, too. Could he be more perfect?
Learning Zakiex is an alien is the icing on the cake, but there’s a problem. Zakiex's mission is cancelled and he's given the option of taking me home with him. It's the only adventure I’ve ever dreamed of, but he doesn’t want to return.
Could I go without him?
Would I?
