2. The Doctor - Maria, a dark haired beauty, was one of the first to arrive at Barton Oakes, a settlement created by a community trying to come together in a time of chaos and confusion. Pregnant and abandoned by her boyfriend, Maria is guilt-ridden, but she's determined to rise to the challenge of being the head chef of the settlement. Maria finds comfort with her close friends, but she's lonely and anxious about her baby and worried about how the community will pull through the winter. Thankfully the settlement has not only one, but two doctors, one of which is incredibly hot. Dr. Logan Macintosh follows Maria closely throughout her pregnancy and is always there to make sure she's doing just fine. Maria has a little feeling though, and a small flicker of hope, that the dark and handsome Dr. Logan doesn't just think of her as his patient. But would he want her in her condition, pregnant with another man's baby? How could it happen anyway? After all, she's his patient...
