Alpha & Omega (#1): Sam grew up knowing that one day he would be the alpha of his pack. He was groomed to lead from a young age and certain of his destiny, until without warning, everything he knew changed. He could escape and live among the humans, but Owen, the man Sam loves, is his alpha and he can’t imagine leaving him, or abandoning his family. The Gathering (#2): Twice a year, all the wolves of the many packs in the territory come together for the gathering. The gathering is when friends and family reunite, wolves of different packs may marry, and any lowly wolf is free to challenge an alpha for the right to lead. This summer gathering is hosted by Sam’s pack, though Sam has little reason to celebrate.
Hurt deeply by the man he loves, his alpha, and with a growing rift between them, Sam has started to entertain thoughts of escape. He still has his family to consider, but it gets harder every day to remember why he stays.
With the gathering comes Jordan Cross, an alpha from another pack who for years has sought Sam out and monopolized his time whenever he’s around. Sam has always believed it was only fun and games for Jordan. He never expected anything else, and he certainly never expected what Jordan proposes.
