1. Followed - When Sophie learns that her husband Lincoln is deeply involved in a Nigerian scam, all she wants to do is escape to the wilderness, with her friend Emma. On the two week hike with a group of seven, she finds herself drawn to Noah, one of the guides. His warm quiet strength makes him very different from her money-grabbing husband. Noah returns her feelings, but Sophie is torn. After all, she is still married.
As the two struggle to resist their attraction, events unfold that turn the hike into a nightmare in which Sophie must fight for her survival. Just as all danger seems past, Sophie finds herself in the worst danger of all: her husband's deceits have followed her into the mountains.
2. MISSING - Everyone believes Ike, the love of Emma’s life, is dead, swept away in a flood while hiking in the Australian wilderness. Everyone except Emma, that is. She believes he is still alive and is determined to find him.
Knowing her life is in danger she connects with two unsavoury characters from Ike’s youthful past. Could these men have the answer to Ike’s whereabouts? As her search deepens, she begins to wonder just who she can trust: not Ike’s double-dealing sister or and the local sergeant who is ineffectual. Or corrupt.
When Emma’s hiking friend Annie and Ike’s long-lost cousin Elijah come to her assistance, things begin to improve. With their help and her own courageous persistence, perhaps she’ll be able to find Ike and bring him home.
