Will was doing just fine, enjoying a mostly quiet and peaceful life in Los Angeles. As quiet as it can be for a vampire such as himself anyway. But when his best friend Lexi goes missing on one of her routine visits home, he is forced back into chaos in his attempt to rescue her. On his first night back in Deosil, he instead rescues a young man from a vampire attack, only to realize he was too late. Now in transition, Will must do two things at once: babysit Sam so that he doesn't gone on a killing rampage, and find out what is going on in Deosil.
