Aden is determined to ensure that peace lasts and to ensure the destruction his father unleashed never happens again.
When Alyx falls over Aden’s castle walls, they soon discover the true meaning of attraction and passion. Aden cannot let anything ruin the fragile peace he has negotiated, and Alyx’s very existence threatens all of that. If any of the bloodlines in the territories knows she exists, it will cause bloodshed; not even he can stop. She should not exist, but here she is, beautiful and fearless and needing his help. Alyx cannot let anyone stop her from finding a cure to save her people her family, even if that someone is Aden Allegraya. She will stop at nothing to ensure her people survive.
