1. Where the Red Moon Rises
The last thing Tara Allen remembers is a wall of water slamming into her research vessel, then icy darkness. She awakens on an unfamiliar shore in a world far away—in time and place—from her Long Beach, California home. But Tara is not alone in this strange new world, a primitive place where ancient cultures thrive and long extinct animals roam the land. And the golden-eyed man who rescues her has secrets of his own.

Aleyx Petrov lives in exile from his own people. He can help the beautiful stranger heal, teach her to survive in his world, but he doesn’t dare grow too close to her. Any link to him might taint her in the eyes of his people. Yet when Tara, too, is cast out, it is Aleyx who shelters her once again.

But Tara’s arrival hasn’t gone unnoticed. Others have crossed into Ixtlán before her. Others who are on the brink of war, willing to do whatever it takes to gain the knowledge that Tara doesn’t know she possesses. How can Aleyx protect Tara from this rival faction, when his own people reject him? Can the fragile new love Tara has found replace all that she’s lost, or is it doomed to come to a tragic end in this unearthly world where the red moon rises?

2. When the White Moon Cries
Tsali of the Tsumat people is accustomed to standing alone. Scarred by tragedy, she is isolated in her own village. Her only companion is her beloved hyaenodon, a wolf-like creature, common to her home world of Ixtlán. All that changes when she finds the half-drowned Tomás, literally washed up at her feet.

Tomás is the spoiled son of Éspan parents, who has never had to do much of anything for himself. Once she’s nursed him back to health, Tsali is happy to dump him back with his own people. But when he shows up bragging about his quest to claim the famous white tchor of Nawonsimu for his fiancée back in San Miguel, Tsali knows that if she doesn’t help, the idiot is likely to get himself killed.

When Luka, an orphan, crosses their path, his charms endear him to Tsali, just as Tsali’s self-reliance and talents are charming Tomás. Working together, the trio find the tchor. Then disaster strikes as they struggle to return home. Can Tomás earn the love and trust of the woman who needs no one? And can Tsali’s skills, courage, and wit save them all when the white moon cries?

3. As the Black Sky Falls
Alonso of the Éspan people is a man obsessed. What lies across the great ocean, on the mysterious island of Anyapakh? Though he has plans to cross the dangerous sea, he has no idea he’ll be called upon to do so on an urgent mission of life or death by a boy named Rikay.

A Sky Lord is blown off course, crashing into the cliffs above Alonso’s home. Badly injured, she lays her egg, begging the Rikay to return it to her sisters on Anyapakh. Alonso and his boat are the only hope for Rikay to carry the precious egg to its island home.

On Anyapakh, Indaya of the Ummac people dreams of the Hidden Lands, faraway Ixtlán, as she endures the everyday drudgery of working alongside her mother. But when two strangers from The Hidden Lands seek her help, will she risk defying her father and her people to help them? With their attraction growing and war looming on the horizon, can Alonso and Indaya keep their promise to the Sky Lord and each other as the black sky falls?

4. Why the Green Stars Fade
Intelligent, adventuresome, and a natural-born leader, Luka is tired of working in the Lime pit in his home of Yukitet. It doesn’t take much to convince his friend to join him on a trip to explore the relatively unknown Southern Plains of Ixtlán. But will the strangers that join in their travels—and a rapidly shifting world—upend everything they thought they knew?

Zida, the sole survivor after a cataclysmic volcano blast destroys her entire village, is rescued by Luka and his motley band of travelers from distant lands. With no supplies, facing an onslaught of disasters, can their courage and resourcefulness guide them to a safe haven?

But safety is a relative concept as old conflicts and rivalries rear their ugly heads. Then the ground splits open beneath their feet. Trapped alone in the darkness and silence of an underground cave, can Luka and Zida survive long enough to discover why the green stars fade?
