1. The Scavenger's Prize - A ruined wedding, an alien attack, and now I'm stuck with this gigantic alien beast.
His kind are barbaric and cruel. They spend most of their free time pillaging and looting. I'm just a woman from a small planet that's barely explored the galaxy.
Vale's abilities in combat are just as frightening as his brethren but he seems so different. When we first meet he actually saves me from them and we find ourselves alone together aboard a tiny ship. Normally I wouldn't want to be anywhere near a Skeldi but he seems friendly enough and his physique leaves nothing to be desired.
I can't let myself become too complacent, the things I have hidden in my backpack are worth a small fortune and I don't know if I can fully trust him. I was recently abandoned at the altar and I'm not ready to have another man in my life, but I don't think I have a choice.
My entire crew is gone now and I desperately need help getting to my new home. Vale is my only hope at this point. His massive frame says he can tear me apart with ease but his eyes say he wants to do other things to me...
Can I convince him to help me?
Can I place any trust in him?
Or is he planning to use me and sell me at the next port?

2. The Bounty Hunter's Claim - He's a criminal, a massive and alluring alien criminal. Why did I invite him onto my ship?
My parents had a grandiose story about how they met, full of action, romance, and intrigue. I wanted that for myself, so I took a job tracking down a wanted criminal. That would surely cover my desire for action. Little did I know, the alien criminal who I hunted would lead me down other paths. His name was Aros, a mysterious and muscular Vraqe. At first he came off as stern and always serious, but the more I got to know him, the more I couldn't resist him. Against my better judgment, I offered to help him escape the planet he was trapped on. There was a rather large problem, though.
Aros had a massive bounty on him, and there were plenty of people after it.
Having a wanted criminal aboard my ship made me nervous, but I had always longed to find romance among the stars, and Aros might be my chance at a happy ending. I felt like he was trustworthy, but his crimes must have been vast to get such a large bounty. I hoped I hadn't made a mistake trusting him.
Is Aros just biding his time to steal my ship and strand me somewhere? Or can we shake our pursuers and end up in the cosmic romance I've always longed for?
