Natasha left mainstream media in 2001 to become the co-founder and managing director of a start-up called Upstream Publications Limited. Her first product was a lifestyle Christian magazine called Upstream. Over the years, Natasha has led the creative team which has produced marketing collateral to support the strategic communications objectives of companies, NGOs, and individuals. Natasha studied communications in Jamaica--the island that inspired the setting for her first novel. She credits her lecturers with watering her inclination toward entrepreneurship. Church on the other hand provided a forum for her to use her skills, talents, and abilities to express herself and impact lives. She's written and directed major productions for her home church in Trinidad. Writing fiction is an extension of Natasha's love for people and her desire to share stories that matter. This season in her life is about writing fiction and nonfiction and about helping more people from the Caribbean to achieve their publishing dreams. Natasha lives in Trinidad with her husband and son.

#1 - When the Poui Blooms
When anger reaches its tipping point, where does it go? Med school, of course!
That’s where Trinidadian Malachi Williamson Jr. finds himself—tightly wound in a Jamaican med school, where the legend of the poui rules calendars.
Teetering on the edge has become the freshman’s new normal. No probs. All he has to do is try not to deck any seniors during orientation. How hard could all this control and suppression be? He survived his mother’s tragic death, and, has managed to negotiate a whole ocean between he and his deacon dad. Brilliant!
But new friend Abigail Shaw suspects something’s off and has made it her mission to crack the code.
But British ballerina Megan Le Blanc is proving to be the ultimate nutcracker. She knows that a handsome young doctor is precisely the kind of catch her dad might actually endorse.
When tensions mount and control crumbles, Malachi’s dreams of becoming a rich doctor looks as if they're about to die a slow and painful death.
And just when he has stopped believing in miracles.
#2 - The Fact Checker
The facts are indisputable: Caleb Olivere, the pastor's son, had sex outside of marriage and got the girl pregnant. He’d half expected the fires of hell to incinerate him on the spot. But eight years later, they haven’t. Instead, he reports to a job he adores, and his weekends are filled with more girlish fun than he can keep up with. For the single father from Trinidad, the facts speak volumes. And if being a New York City fact checker has taught him anything, it is to always listen to the facts.
Which is why her presence has him stumped. Dr. Abigail Shaw, aka, the one who got away, was supposed to be nicely tucked away in that unfortunate season before the fall. The same mental space he’d reserved for church folk, faith, and victims of his very public shamefest.
But his starring role as best man and her role as the maid of honor in their best friends’ wedding are pointing to one undeniable fact: life is about to get crazy uncomfortable again.
The only thing that can save The Fact Checker…is truth.
