Coming back home isn't exactly how I expected my big move to LA to go.
I promise myself that I am going to focus on music and getting out of this little town for good.
Then, he walks into my open mic night and the connection I feel to him is like... harmony.
And all I want is for him to play me like a fiddle. All night long.
Can I take the chance to stay? For love?

I'd be lying if I said I haven't been feeling a little jealous of my business partner finding his perfect girl.
But, I'm not looking
Then, I happen upon her singing her little heart out at the local donut shop and I know that I have to have her.
But, she's a star with dreams that are going to take her far away from here.
And I don't want to mess up her life.
Still, I know it's going to be damn near impossible to stay away from her.
3. Brax - Leah
My plan is to have a great summer on my own, as far away as possible from my overbearing parents and siblings.
Then, they show up. All of them. And just like that, my plan for independence is squashed.
When I run into him while helping a hurt animal, I realize that he could turn it all around. What I feel for him is...more than a crush.
Even if he still thinks of me as the little girl that used to volunteer around his animal sanctuary.
I would do anything to change his mind.

I came to this small town to create an animal sanctuary in my wife's memory.
Tending skittish horses and dogs other people thought were beyond saving helped me grieve.
But, she saved my life.
Still, I'm much older than her and I'm broken goods. I shouldn't even consider going down that path.
But there is something about her that makes me want to break my rules.
