1. Aces Wild - Taking another man’s woman was a sin punishable by death—especially in the Royal Bastards. The Smokey Bandits Prez should have killed his friend for taking his Ol’lady, Charity, and his infant daughter. His friend could keep Charity, but Ace wanted his kid back. When Charity’s sister, Trinity, showed up with his kid in tow, he thought it was his lucky damn day. He didn’t count on the sexy lawyer forming an attachment to his kid and he certainly didn’t plan on falling for her, but Ace needed her help and he planned on taking everything Trinity was offering him. When trouble showed up on his doorstep, threatening to take away his daughter again, Ace was prepared to lose everything he’d built to keep both Trinity and his daughter safe. He’d walk away from the Bandits, give up his casino, and give away his entire empire before he let anything happen to either of them. Ace could play dirty. He was ready for the fight of his life, no matter how dirty it got. He knew how to play the hand he was dealt and in this game, he was holding all the cards.
2. Queen of Hearts - Knox Heart was a man who liked control. In fact, he craved it, but meeting Beck threw him into a downward spiral of chaos that he couldn’t seem to escape. The problem was, he didn’t know if he even wanted to escape the mayhem she brought every time she walked into the same room with him. His assistant wasn’t who he expected her to be, and that both excited and terrified him, at the same time. Surviving his desires for Beck Dax was going to be a challenge but he had faced worse.
Beck wasn’t sure how she had gotten herself into her current crazy predicament—sleeping with her boss and making it a dirty little secret, kept between just the two of them. No one knew about them and that was how their “relationship” needed to stay—a secret. The problem was their undercover rendezvous had an expiration date attached to it—nine months to be exact. First, Beck needed to figure out how to tell Knox about their ticking time bomb. Then, she’d have to figure out how to convince him to let her keep her job because that was all she had the right to ask him for. Beck promised Knox a “no strings attached” relationship and this baby was definitely a string—a very long, messy string.
3. Full House - Rainey Nolan had to learn to live with disappointment after her husband was killed while serving his country, leaving her to raise four kids on her own. She learned to be the best mom she could be to her son and three daughters, but that left little time for her to have any fun. Rainey’s idea of a good time was tucking her kids in a little early to watch a television show and fall asleep on the couch. That all changed when her sister showed up to her house with her rich new boyfriend, his security detail, and a whole lot of trouble.
Slater Tyson was the head of security for Knox Heart and both of his casinos. He was ex-military and damn good at keeping people safe—that included single mom, Rainey Nolan, and her four adorable kids. Slater was old enough to be Rainey’s father. Hell, his own kid was about her age, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to ask her out on a real date. He wanted to treat her the way she deserved to be treated, even if that meant asking his boss’s new sister-in-law out. Screwing things up with her could lose him his job, but he had a feeling that Rainey Nolan was worth it.
4. King of Clubs - Ryker wasn’t sure how the hell he was going to pull his bar out of the red and pay off the loan sharks who were now darkening his doorstep. He was in over his head, but as the Prez of the Smokey Bandits, there was no way that he’d let his club down. He knew he could go to Ace and ask him for help, but that wasn’t something he wanted to do. Ace couldn’t bail him out every time he found himself in hot water. He had a plan to hire a few pretty waitresses and a new cook to help bring in some fresh clientele to the bar. He just never planned on falling for his sexy new waitress or her kid.
Harlow had made some fantastically bad decisions when it came to choosing men. Her ex-husband had tried to kill her and the scar he left down her right cheek was her constant reminder that she was done with men. She was trying to find her way back into the land of the living when she found the ad for a local dive bar needing a waitress. She had zero qualifications and waiting tables seemed a better choice than letting her little girl go without the things that she needed. Sure, she found her new boss hot, but he seemed to be as bad a decision as her ex was. There was no way that she’d fall into his bed because that wouldn’t end well for her—it never did.
5. Joker's Wild - Taz had his secrets—the biggest being that he was a classically trained French chef. Yeah, telling the guys in the Smokey Bandits MC that he studied in France would have been a mistake. They’d never let him live it down. But when the new waitress at the bar, Kai, practically begged him to help her with her cooking for one of her college classes, he knew that his secret was about to become public knowledge. The little minx practically blackmailed him to help her if he wanted his secret kept. So, Taz did what he had to do—agreed to help Kai learn to cook, and damn if that didn’t feel like the biggest mistake he’d ever made, but what choice did he have?
6. Betting on Blaze - Blaze Hallman had very few regrets, but what happened between him and his ex, Blair Castella was one of them. He had let her get away—the only woman that he ever loved. Seeing her at their mutual friend’s wedding wasn’t something that he had counted on, and neither was her agreeing to dance with him. But she had. Holding her again only made him want her more and Blaze was sure that his longing for Blair was never going to go away. He just needed to come up with a damn good plan to win her back or the next wedding that he attended might be hers.
Blair still loved Blaze, that wasn’t the problem. She knew that if she gave him her heart again, he’d tear it to shreds and she couldn’t let that happen—not again. So when Blaze asked her to come back to his place with him, she came up with a lie that she’d end up regretting. Blair had no other choice. Telling Blaze that she was involved with someone else was her only option.
