Despite their antagonistic start, they discover themselves developing a respect for each other, but it is cut short by Elizabeth’s return to Meryton. Elizabeth and Darcy’s wedding day is the start of an eventful year. The Bingleys, Bennets, Lucases, de Bourghs and Fitzwilliams all make an appearance, but it is Elizabeth and Darcy who are at the heart of the novel. Follow them through the joys and challenges of their first year of marriage, culminating in the birth of their first child.
