Three Novels by Juliana Garnett
Requirements: ePUB, MOBI Readers, 8.72 MB
Overview: Virginia Brown (aka Juliana Garnett) published her first book in 1984, and since that time, she has written over fifty books. While the lady has interests in many genres, she chose the medieval period for her love of dashing knights and brave heroines. In October 2003, Romantic Times Magazine presented her with her latest award, a Lifetime Achievement Award for Historical Adventure for her medieval novels written as Juliana Garnett.

Ms. Brown recently moved back to Memphis Tennessee, where she lives with a large menagerie of animals and does rescue work for lost, stray, and abandoned cats and dogs whenever possible.

And on Wednesday nights, you'll find Ms Brown glued to the television watching her favorite program, THE OC. No writing is done during that show!

She has many other interests in life, particularly the welfare of animals. Below are some links for those of you who share her love for our furred and feathered friends. If you feel moved to send donations to any of the nonprofit animal sanctuaries, your kindness and generosity will be greatly appreciated.

The Scotsman: Proud and fierce, Alexander Fraser fights for the lands and title the English stole from his family--and for the Scots dream of freedom. Now he's lost what's closest to his heart: his younger brother Jamie, captured by the ruthless earl of Warfield. Determined to free Jamie, Alex boldly takes a hostage--the earl's daughter Catherine. But the delicate maiden he locks in his craggy castle has more mettle than many men ... and more passion than any woman he has ever known. Even as Alex and Catherine risk scandal and insurrection to indulge their desire, he knows he must someday give her up ... or forfeit his brother's life.

The Vow: Dispatched by William of Normandy to quell a brazen Saxon rebellion, Luc Louvat believes that his mission will be easily accomplished. For what foolish Saxon lord has any hope against an army of seasoned Norman knights? But the great warrior is in for a shock: His adversary is no crusty, aging nobleman but an exquisite princess who looks as fragile as a flower—and yet fights with a will as steely as the sword she wields. Suddenly Luc is waging a dangerous new war—aimed at the defenses of a fierce Saxon beauty who threatens to conquer his warrior’s heart.

Ceara is a ferocious warrior and proud daughter to the Saxon lord of Wolfridge, and any man would be a fool to challenge her. So how could she ever surrender to this hulking mercenary sent by the Norman bastard who has already taken so much? Ceara has made a sacred vow to fight at all costs, never yielding to her enemy. But that was before she met her match in Luc, the one man who could rival the intensity of her courage—and the heat of her passion.

The Baron: Tré Devaux, Third Baron of Brayeton, has just been appointed Sheriff of Nottingham. His first task: to rid the land of the Saxon outlaws who undermine the Norman rule . . . or face the wrath of his vengeful king. Tré is determined to let no one stand in his way, not even the captivating Lady Jane Neville, a known sympathizer to the Saxon cause whose unbridled spirit evokes feelings in Tré he thought were long buried.

Although she seems to be the very definition of the perfect English lady, Jane Neville is much more than an elegant noblewoman. She is the niece of the infamous outlaw Robin Hood, and has inherited her uncle’s fierce courage. But even with her warrior’s blood, Jane cannot resist the broad-shouldered, strong-willed Tré, a man whose love comes with harsh consequences. By surrendering to passion, Jane and Tré put themselves in the middle of a civil war that may cost both their hearts—and their lives.
