Living together should've been as easy as the rest of our friendship -- but adding in a fake relationship where her family was concerned blurred the lines so badly I didn't know which side I was on anymore. Little kisses here, a touch to her gorgeous, full hips there, and I was lost. Lost in her, lost in us, lost in a future I couldn't see clearly enough until she finally gave in.
They said I was the boring brother ... I was far from boring, and I couldn't wait to show her what she'd been missing.
6. Rose-Colored Boy - I was the youngest and last of my brothers to find love. They called me a romantic, a dreamer, a boy with rose-colored glasses who couldn’t see the world for what it was. Maybe they were right… or they were wrong and I was exactly the boy I needed to be for one specific man. A man who’d embrace how I was, who would polish those glasses and shield me from anything that wasn’t pure light.
So when a handsome older man won a two hour date with me at a charity auction, my brothers were worried. I wasn’t though, because somehow I was pretty sure I finally found the very thing I’d always been looking for.
Now I just had to hope he saw it too.
6.5 Time for a Wedding - After watching all of her boys get married and find their happily ever afters, it's finally time for Mor to get hers.
Told from the POV of all nine Novaks, this fade-to-black novella puts the cherry on top of the Whitecrest series.
