Overview: She has a dark sense of humor—according to those who have spent too much time around her—and finds it really weird writing about herself in the third person. She’d love to have pets, but then she looks at her drooping houseplants and rethinks her ability to be responsible for another creature. Anyone know of a pet that takes care of itself? Must have fur instead of scales, enjoy interaction, and be incredibly robust.

1. From Victory and Glory - “Come on, Pipsqueak, job’s done. It’s time to grab a pint, drown our sorrows, and prepare to die tomorrow.”
As a rallying cry it leaves something to be desired, but when you’ve been dropped into the middle of a war, in a world you don’t know and a body you don’t recognize, at least someone is offering a drink.
I’m not sure who I am or what I’m doing here, but I’m pretty sure we’re setting off for the final battle and I’m here for a reason. After all, my kind are only called forth in times of dire need and we always have a gift.
I just need to figure out the who, what, when, where, and why. Then, I’ll sort out the how.
I mean, how hard can it be?
2. To Wrack and Ruin - Life is supposed to be about answers. We live, we learn, we don’t do it again. A pretty idea, but one so far from the truth I can’t even imagine how we spout that garbage. But I’m not going to let that stop me, I’m going to get answers or die trying. Though I’d much rather kill than die—been there, done that, not interested in doing it again.
But who can I trust in the quest for truth? The four kings, their enemy, or the gods that toy with us?
None of them are wise choices, but I've got to trust someone . . .
