1. Ares: When Ares became the president of his motorcycle club, it was with a promise to destroy his former club and its president. He succeeded, but in doing so, he lost the one person who meant the most to him, so when Jace is literally dropped on his doorstep, he won’t let him run away again. Keeping Jace safe is the most important thing to Ares. Nothing else matters. Not even the burning desire he feels every time he thinks about Jace.
It’s been close to a year since Jace ran. Since the man he loved killed his brother and set him free. He’s almost got his life back on track when he’s forced back into everything he just wanted to leave behind. The last thing he wants is to be around outlaw bikers again, but Ares makes it clear that he’s not giving Jace a choice. As much as he wants to run again, he also wants to know if there’s a chance Ares might feel the way he does.
When their past mistakes catch up with them, they’ll have to fight tooth and nail for what they want and there’s only one thing Ares truly wants, but will he chase Jace away before realizing it?
3. Griff: When Griff is forced to work with Sam, aka the most frequent cause of his headaches, it goes nothing like he expects. Especially with Sam looking at him in a way that makes him break all his own rules. Including the ones that have kept him from entertaining the idea that Sam could be interested in him. He’s been hurt so many times that he’s sworn off relationships, but if there’s one man who can make him change his mind, it’s Sam.
Getting into trouble is Sam’s specialty and Griff always ends up being the one patching him back together. That doesn’t help to squash the crush he’s had on the guy for years. He never thought Griff would want him, but when the man makes it clear that he does, holding back isn’t an option. Falling for Griff is easy. Making Griff believe it, though? It’ll take a lot of convincing but, fortunately, Sam is anything but a quitter.
With a great threat looming over their club and their brothers, there’s already much at stake for them, but is Griff ready to risk it all on giving Sam a chance?
6. Steel: When Kai fucks up and needs to run and hide, there’s only one man he can go to for help. Or, rather, there’s only one man he wants to go to. Steel might not be too happy to see him, but Kai is certain the chemistry he’s felt between them since they first met will work in his favor. After all, who could resist a disgraced assassin with a hit out on him?
Harboring a fugitive is not how Steel wanted to spend his time, but one look at a disheveled and skittish Kai and he can’t help but give in. The assassin intrigues him, though he also pisses him off like no one else. Steel is not sure if he’ll be losing his mind or his heart by giving in to Kai’s advances, but, either way, he knows he’s screwed.
When Kai realizes that Steel is what he truly wants, he has to ensure he’ll have more than a life on the run to offer him, and in order to do that, he’ll have to stop hiding and fight back, even if it means he might not live long enough to make a home with Steel.
