Soon I learn I’m a Mystic and the people who captured me are vampire bats. Their leader plans to force me to heal sick and wounded shifters while lining his pockets with the money. Just when all feels lost, an opportunity for escape presents itself. Now I’m on the run, but my horrible luck continues. I find myself stranded in an unfamiliar town, accepting help from unfamiliar faces—one of whom I feel a certain chemistry toward. For the first time in days, I feel safe, but as night falls, that sense of safety becomes fleeting because I know the bats will come for me.
2. Storm - I thought the vampire bats were all I had to worry about. I was wrong.
I killed Erin’s mate. Now she’s coming for me, but she’s not the only one. Random shifters seem drawn to me faster than a moth to a flame.
Armed with a potion from the raven witch, I head back to my apartment with some from Poe’s crew while allowing him time to calm the shifters gathering in Gray Cove and figure out why they’re suddenly so drawn to me.
However, Norbury is no longer home and I’ll have to fight like hell to survive it.
3. Soar - Deciding to become a raven shifter might not solve all my problems, but it’s a start.
Pike, the leader of the vampire bats, is coming for me. If I want to survive a war with him, I need a raven of my own. Becoming a shifter is the only way to level the playing field.
But will it be enough?
Pike will do anything to see me dead. This isn’t about him using my Mystic magic to his benefit anymore. It’s a battle of life and death. The question is: Who will remain standing at the end?
