He can’t jeopardize his reputation as a sports anchor. After meeting Olivia at a work picnic, he’s completely smitten. When Olivia comes to him, worried about showing up dateless to the family reunion, he offers to stand in as her fake boyfriend – but he wishes it were real.
Can a smart, ambitious woman, and a closet otaku-jock fake it long enough to make a lasting connection?
2. Nadia - It was hate at first sight…
Nadia knew Caleb was the enemy from the day they met. His best friend had devastated one of her squad, and Caleb was nothing but an absolute jerk. In the name of friendship, Nadia is willing to tolerate him … but that doesn't make Mr. Arrogance any more charming. At least game night is still just for the girls, right?
Now that Jake’s back with his girl, Caleb finds himself bored and lonely. When Nadia needs rescuing from the side of the road, he thinks he’s found a way to get more time with his best friend. But it turns out that spending time with Nadia is more stimulating than he’d imagined … and now he can’t stop thinking about her in his bed. When their bickering turns into something more, his fears push her away.
Then, the unthinkable happens.
Can this loner learn to work in a team to get back what he didn’t realize was missing?
