Miss Beth Collins has known Mr. Frederick Darcy for many years and, in arriving at Pemberley for a prolonged visit, thinks nothing of being in his company again. Her heart is much too troubled over her brother, George, who has not written to her for some months and whose secret she continues to carry. The last person she wishes to tell about her heavy heart is Frederick – and yet he seems determined to discover the truth.
