4. When Sinners Fear: Science and study were the only important things to me. My life was a series of equations and problems to unlock, until Mom got sick.
I had no choice but to go home and step into her shoes - to help when she needed me. I cooked, I cleaned, and I looked after my family. We went to church on Sundays, and I listened to quiet prayers for a miracle cure so I could get back to my own life.
But I knew it wouldn’t come.
That’s where I met him.
