Three Sisters Cafe series (Books 4-7) by Laura Ann
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 2.3 MB
Overview: Ever since I was in elementary school I have wanted to be an author. Career day was a bit rough, since there is no official uniform for this job. Pajamas and a laptop maybe? Although my clothes change from day to day, my job as a wife and mother doesn’t.
Genre: Fiction > Romance

4. The Sweetest Discovery: He's stifled and ready for more,
she's seeking refuge and peace.
When dreams and love clash, is there ever truly a winner?
Michael Dunlap teaches literature to middle school students in his small town of Seagull Cove, Oregon. While he loves his job, he finds himself growing restless. His cousins, friends and siblings all seem to be finding someone to share their lives with and he's stuck working with preteens who would rather spend their days on their phones, than learn one more line about Shakespeare. Life takes an interesting turn, however, when a woman comes into town, opening an antique shop. She's beautiful and intelligent and just might be what Michael's looking for to shake up his world.
Quinn Peters has turned a complete one-eighty. Fleeing her teaching job in a major city after a co-worker threatened her, she decides to find refuge in a small town, far away from the slums she's been surviving in before. Seeking a safer work environment, she takes her history degree and opens an antique shop, eager to be surrounded by something other than overly-entitled men.
When their first meeting goes spectacularly wrong, Quinn writes off Michael as just another handsome man she needs to stay away from. But the Oregon Coast weather is nothing like where Quinn came from and she finds herself unprepared for a volatile fall. Will being stranded together in a coastal storm give Quinn the opportunity to discover there's more to Michael than their awkward beginning? Or will their experiences in the past keep them from realizing what's right in front of their noses?
5. The Sweetest Season: Her peaceful writing retreat becomes a disaster when her house goes up in flames...literally.
A suggestion from her agent had writer Felicia Layton taking a sabbatical from her childhood home and finding solace in a small cabin on the Oregon Coast. But the run-down house is anything but peaceful, especially when the fire department has to show up...twice!
Being saved by a hunky firefighter in uniform should have had her imagination running wild, but Gavin's severe scolding afterwards throws a cold splash of water on any simmering attraction. So when he shows back up at the door, claiming he's been hired as a handyman to bring the house up to code, Felicia pushes aside the magic of the season to give him a clear answer.
No.
Good thing she punctuated it by closing the door in his face.
6. The Sweetest Picture: He spent his life behind the camera, footloose and fancy free,
Until a little girl and her mother make him question everything.
Mikaela Greer graduated from the school of hard knocks…multiple times. A mistake as a teenager has taught her how to sacrifice, protect and love with a fierceness she was never shown herself. Scraping out a life for her and her young daughter doesn’t come easy and a move to the small town of Seagull Cove, Oregon is meant to help ease the burden. When a dashing, playful photographer crosses her path, however, her strict no dating policy becomes harder to bear than ever.
Jayden Gordon loves life. So much so, that he can’t see himself settling down into the domesticated role of boyfriend or husband, any time soon. But when he takes pictures for the local elementary school, he befriends a little girl who tugs at his heartstrings. Her sweet desire for a family goes against everything he has planned, but when he meets the wounded and stand-offish mother…Jayden knows he can’t just walk away.
With their friendship slowly blooming into something more, Mikaela’s past comes back with an offer that would fix everything…except her heart.
7. The Sweetest Visit: I never meant for it to go this far.
I was adopted and raised in the kind of family that most people dream of. Love, fights and forgiveness nearly smothered us whole, and it was wonderful.
But I just can't shake the desire to know where I came from, and I'm terrified of hurting the woman who gave me everything.
So volunteering to live with my grandmother when she was diagnosed with Ahlzheimers was a no-brainer. I can work from anywhere, and while taking care of her, I can do research on my roots without hurting those I love most.
Getting thrown together in a town project with a man I chewed out only a couple weeks...definitely not in the plans.
It doesn't help that his kindness makes my stomach flip and his gaze turns my cheeks into heaters. I have a plan and getting attached to a handsome face in a small town isn't it. At all. Nope. Not even a little bit.
Heaven help me, but I can't focus on my past and my future at the same time...now I need to figure out which one of them is more important.
