Vulpes remains tight-lipped when questioned, and Pippa wonders if she's being played for a fool. She teams up with Princess Elisabeta to uncover who Vulpes is protecting--and why--, but a few secrets of Lisia's come to light in the process.
With Pippa now unsure of if she can trust either of her partners, and with a potential murderer waiting in the shadows to stage a coup against Lisia and Vulpes, she must take matters into her own hands and sniff out the culprit before she becomes the next victim.
