When the human females arrive at our settlement, I am against mating with one of them. The other males are eager to get to know the soft-skinned humans, but I will not participate. When my tribe leader foists a human female with wild red fur onto me, I'm forced to share my dwelling with her. She is weak and fragile like the rest of her species, and I want no part in getting to know her. But... I feel strangely protective of this little female. And my instincts are roaring that she is mine.
