When Elizabeth Bennet awakens in the woods of Derbyshire, she is horrified to discover she has no recollection of how she arrived there or who she is. After the disastrous proposal at Rosings, Elizabeth Bennet has no desire to set foot on that estate again. Yet, when her friend Charlotte Collins urgently implores her to return, Elizabeth reluctantly agrees. Surely, the odds of encountering Mr. Darcy once more are remote?
To her dismay, fate seems determined to prove her wrong. Almost immediately upon stepping out of the carriage, the proud gentleman from Derbyshire crosses her path. What's worse, he appears resolute in changing her perception of his character.
As they become more acquainted, Elizabeth’s preconceptions are challenged, and she begins to wonder: Could she have misjudged Darcy all along? And why does her heart skip a beat whenever he's nearby?
Unfortunately, before she can delve into her shifting emotions, catastrophe strikes.
