Freedom, Love, Monsters Series by Delilah Dare (1-2)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 907 kb
Overview: I'm Delilah. In my den of daring delights, you'll find cinnamon-roll monsters with extra gooey centers and extra-sharp claws. Much like my monsters, my stories are made from a dough of romance and an icing of spice. You'll find lots of centuries-old beasties with a gray moral code and a soft spot for their human. Here's to all my kindred souls who pretended the beast never shapeshifted back into a human; watched The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe solely for Mr. Tumnis; or felt a thrill on full moon nights knowing there were beasts lurking in the woods.
Genre: Fiction > Romance

1. Married to the Mahr - He smelled her nightmare miles away and had to feast upon the dreamer capable of such a tantalizing scent...
But at the first taste of her, he knew...
He would break his centuries-long vow just to ride her chest every night.
Traeyr's favorite thing about being the demon that inspired the word nightmare is traveling the world. His second favorite thing is squeezing through the tightest possible holes to infiltrate his victims' chambers.
He always finds himself returning to this geographical spot where dreamers are ripe for his influence. The sweet scent of a sleeper's dark dream lures him to her bed and he has to have a taste. He's never before experienced such a delectable dulcet of flavors and he finds himself coming back for more, but he refuses to allow a human to trap him. Never again.
In the wake of a breakup, Addison struggles to pay rent with stress-induced nightmares plaguing her sleep. When she wakes to find a demonic shadow creature perched on her chest, research quickly leads her to suspect she's been targeted by a mahr - a sleep paralysis demon that rides the chests of sleeping humans, feeding them nightmares and crushing them to death. If he can give her nightmares, could he give her good dreams, too?
Addison never meant to bind Traeyr to her bedroom. She only wanted a good night's sleep. But when he finds out that more than just her dreams can nourish him, his control begins to slip.
2. Fallen for the Two-Headed Dragon - Dana's 3-year relationship ends on a high note when she reminds her boyfriend that she doesn't want kids, to which he responds by shoving her off the mountain. She tumbles down the staggered cliffside and rolls into a bear cave.
Taken by surprise, Rathym watches her scramble away. Every fiber of his being demands him to pursue her, but the enchanted letter from his homeland will fade away at any moment. There's been a break in the case of his closest friend's assassination. Rathym shouldered the weight of responsibility for his friend's death two centuries ago and had subsequently isolated himself, the best way he knew to keep his loved ones safe. He will not miss the murderer's reckoning.
As a 5-centuries-old dragon who strictly follows tradition, he knows she now belongs to him. He will not allow his most enrapturing treasure to stray very far. When Dana is inevitably dragged back to his lair, Rathym battles the unnatural desire to take her as his mate. If his homeland has embraced interspecies mating, why is he still so afraid to open his heart?
While her grouchy captor tends to her wounds and lavishes her with gifts, Dana starts to rethink the polite life she's always known. She's spent too much time putting off her passion and shrinking down to fit into safe little boxes for the benefit of others. It was time to choose herself.
As they both fight their battles for justice, she sees a gentler side of the ancient beast and wonders if he's been right all along. They do belong together.
