The Hydorians look like humans, except they’re taller, their skin looks like the sea, and their King, Zadoc, is the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen…with a tail. He's strong and protective of me. I’m drawn to him in a way I can’t understand—and everyone keeps calling me his bonded mate.
But in my new situation, I realize I left a mess on Earth and now my family is in jeopardy.
Can my newfound mate keep me safe and save my family on Earth?
Even if his emotions are a mess now that he feels what I feel, sees what I see, and wants me like I want him?
2. Saved by the Bounty Hunter - I had a plan! I knew exactly what was going to happen for the rest of my life. My daughter would return from her time on Hydor, and then we’d live our lives happily ever after in our cottage by the sea. But now I’m living with a bounty hunter hired by the Hydorian king to protect me, and I’m due to board a ship to live the rest of my life on an alien planet.
I never thought I’d love again after losing my husband all those years ago. But I had my daughter Kazia to keep me going; she was my life's joy. Now she has her own family and baby on the way. Still, I am a mother ’til the end, and I will protect her wherever she goes…even if it’s on the alien planet that killed my husband.
But before I can figure out how to come to terms with this new life before me, I find myself drawn to Dash, the bounty hunter who has been sworn to protect me. He has Hydorian blood and towers over me. He’s tattooed and bearded, gruff and greying. Dash is the daddy everyone wants to love. And it doesn’t take us long before we share the same bed and fall in love. It turns out we have the fated mates bond. After all, he saved me and loves taking me as his.
Dash is human and Hydorian. He’s strong and protective of me. I’m drawn to him in a way I can’t understand—and he keeps calling me his bonded mate.
But in this new situation, I can only hope that when we finally leave Earth for Hydor, we can settle down and retire like I’d once planned to do on Earth. I don’t mind spending the rest of my life on Hydor if my daughter is there and Dash is by my side.
Although I have resigned to leave my past behind, his dark past as a Hydorian bounty hunter has caught up with him. And the creatures he put away all those years ago are back and ready to threaten the beautiful life we hope to live.
3. Taken by the Spare - I had one day left on my shift when chaos erupts. Taking a job as a correctional officer on a ship that orbits Earth and Hydor isn’t thrilling, but it pays well. And once my month-long shift is over? I get a month of paid vacation. I work, then I travel. Repeat. I had just one more day to go, and then I’d be shuttled back to Earth and ready to go on my next adventure.
This ship was never supposed to stop orbiting, let alone crash land. And I never worried about the prisoners taking it over in a coup against the crown. It’s been an easy job so far. We do our checks. We monitor the screens. We chill. I love meeting new humans and Hydorians from all over the two planets. Nothing was ever supposed to go wrong.
The Captain sends us into the escape pods before we get trapped with the prisoners on this flailing ship. But once we land, we find more threats and more rebels when I run directly into the arms of the one man inhabiting Hydor's vast northern climate.
I have determined to survive, even when this man living alone in these cold lands takes me to his home, claiming he’s not human but cursed to live in this form. I don’t know what to think except that he’s taken me to the most remote parts of Hydor, and I might never find my friends from the ship or escape these cold lands.
