1. Aria of the Eclipse
Nothing has ever excited Tylen Merodine more than being invited by the Regent himself to celebrate the first solar eclipse in his planet’s recorded history. It’s the party of the millennium, and if he has to restrain his normal exuberant instincts to fit in, that’s what he’ll do to be a part of it. His good intentions vanish, however, the moment he’s presented to the Regent. For more than twenty years, Dek has lived in captivity, performing at the whim of those who see him as an animal. The Regent is just the latest in a long line of owners, and while he’s kind, he’s still blind to Dek’s sentient nature. Only music gives Dek a voice, until Tylen breaks the rules and sneaks in to see and speak to him alone.
The time they have together is stolen and precious, the minutes ticking away until the eclipse is past and they have to go back to the way their lives were before. But when the Regent shows an unexpected interest in Tylen’s future, they begin to wonder if their worlds need to remain so separate..

Detective Brady Lindstrom deals in death, and not just because he's a homicide cop with the slaughter of a century to solve. Ten years ago, vampires murdered his lover. Ever since, he's looked over his shoulder, ready for vampires to strike again. Or maybe just the one he loved.
Exhausted and angry about the needless deaths he has to investigate, Brady worries that the killers he's looking for aren't even human. Those fears are compounded by an unexpected visitor, the battered and nearly broken Cole Singer, the lover he'd long ago given up for dead. When Cole offers to trade information on the killers in exchange for sanctuary, Brady realizes he doesn't have a choice. He just can't turn his back on the face of the only man he's ever loved. Even if he's a vampire.

When Joe Grace, an assistant DA in Los Angeles, discovers the best friend he had growing up has been taken in for questioning on a murder investigation, he drops everything and flies to Chicago. To help, he tells himself.
The last person Israel Jones ever expects to show up in his defense is a blast from his past, but now that Joe's in town, Israel is convinced the truth will surface. Someone out there killed his son's murderer, and though the police believe he was seeking vengeance, Israel claims he's innocent. Together, Joe and Israel have to unearth the real killer, but to do that, Joe needs to find out about the life Israel has had without him.
Even if it means facing all his own ghosts as well...

Thomas Durling escaped his small-town upbringing for over ten years, until a single phone call drew him back. Told his mother has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s, he returns to the small northern Michigan town he once called home to find a mute stranger taking care of her in his stead. On the surface, Andre seems harmless enough, but Thomas has enough problems trying to deal with his mother’s illness. He doesn’t need a gorgeous young man to distract him, especially in a town that drove him away once already with its homophobia.
But Andre has nowhere else to go. A wolf without a pack, he’s been on the run since witnessing his father’s murder, always looking over his shoulder, never looking ahead. Taking care of Thomas’s mother has given him a welcome sanctuary, as well as a place he can call home for a couple months. He wants to stay, but more importantly, he wants to help, even if Thomas isn’t ready to accept that they could actually be friends…

Spencer’s never met anyone so driven or determined before, but it’s more than the level of professional respect the men seem to share that compels Spencer to agree. Something about Mick draws Spencer to him, something he can’t quite put his finger on. It might be the intense physical attraction. It might be the easy friendship that starts almost as soon as they meet.
