Overview: Jesse Gagnon was born in Richmond, Virginia. He grew up with a love for art and science fiction. Like many interests in life, these were put aside but not forgotten. After a long chain of unfortunate events and a wife, a mortgage, a dog and two children later, he found himself a job in the Navy. Jesse, his wife and two beautiful daughters moved to the awesome state of Washington, forty five minutes from Seattle. Despite the lack of dry days the scenery was unforgettable. On deployment, the science fiction novel, 'Illuminating the Darkness' began to take shape. After months of transcribing and editing, the book became available to the world. This science fiction trilogy was written with knowledge of life that wasn't always friendly. Life is a hurricane that you can prepare for but not everything will be left the same as it was. Adventures in 'Illuminating the Darkness' have real life failures and hardships that Jesse has learned from experience. The most recent series is a zombie apocalypse named The Azrael. It is based in Chicago and the surrounding cities of Illinois. We follow the Highwaymen, who explore the area for survivors and to study their enemy, the Azrael. At times we get in the heads of those unfortunate souls who are afflicted with the virus.

In the third installment of The Azrael series we follow the Highwaymen in their pursuit of knowledge about the virus. We discover what happens to Jason after his recent infection with the Azrael virus. Randall and Brooke eventually decide to leave the relative safety of their isolated house in search of answers. Information about a new organization spreads throughout the Highwaymen, Simon and the Veil that will change everything. Will they finally find a solution to the virus or will they discover more questions instead?
Tricon (Book 4)
In the fourth installment of the Azrael Series, we discover the fate of our Highwaymen and their missing citizens. Will the Awakened Azrael and Vladomir track down the dangerous Alpha, David?
