Wolf Hunting (#3) Nowen is a woman with no memory, wandering a ravaged world overrun with the living dead. She shares her mind and body with a wild wolf, a relationship that is uneasy at best.
After the events of 'Wolf Hiding' Nowen is searching for the man who imprisoned her, tortured her, and turned her wolf against her. She travels with Sage, a young girl who survived only thanks to Nowen's wolf. Unexpected help arrives in the form of Everett, a fellow vukodlak - but can he be trusted? The road she's on takes her through the silent land, revealing the horrors of a city wrapped in snow, the endless struggle to survive in a fort-turned-settlement, and the culmination of her journey at a glimmering chapel.
Along the way Nowen discovers truths about herself and her companion - and also discovers that the past doesn't always stay in the past. For in a world where the dead walk and feast on the living, the most savage creature is man.
