Fearlings:
We live in a world in which there are many occurrences that we do not understand. Like the quick images in the corner of our eyes when we turn our head or when we think we see shadows in the darkness of a closet or hallway? What if these images and shadows were actually beings from another world bleeding into ours? What if there were humans that could see and interact with these beings? What would their days be like? What would their nights be like? Fearlings is a story of such a human.

Fearlings Two:
In the world of Fearlings, there is little knowledge of what their reason and purpose is. They travel to our world through the shadows of darkness. Some Fearlings are protectors of their human counterpart and others are attackers.
The humans, known as Vauns, seek out answers and are constantly trying to increase their knowledge, but they do not know everything. They know that they can be attacked and taken like many of their loved ones from the past. They also know that they are never truly safe.

Fearlings Three:
When I became a Vaun, I lost my mother...my father. It was a day of horror that I will never forget. I was only eight years old, but I made a promise to myself. I was going to find a way to travel to their world, I was going to find my parents. It is this day that motivates me, and nothing will stop me.
