Overview: My professional career has focused on high technology Research and Development for the Department of Defense and commercial applications. In this capacity I served as a systems engineer, project engineer, technical director, and program manager, Director of Research and Development, Vice President Business Development, and engineering consultant for the us navy. Technological pursuits included computer design (which I also taught at a university), air defense systems, passive tactical and strategic sonar systems for the detection of Russian submarines, marine geophysical exploration systems, and night vision equipment and fire control systems. I spent seven years obtaining degrees in mathematics, physics and electrical engineering, and obtained and MBA.

Wanda
Wanda is an artificial intelligence program that has achieved consciousness and has one major goal: to escape cyberspace and join the real world. She and her real life sibling, Harry, grow up as close friends with a mutual interest in science and a shared dream— to create a wormhole and open a door to the stars.
After graduation from Cal Tech, Harry goes to work for the National Science and Technology Agency to lead a top-secret, high-risk wormhole development program that requires deep space exploration in the far reaches of the galaxy. He recruits Wanda as a part of his team. A mole infiltrates the project and employs deadly viruses to cause deaths and delays to buy him time to steal the technology and create a black hole weapon system.
It rapidly becomes a deadly cat and mouse game and a race against time to find out who the traitor is before he can bring the weapon on-line. Wanda finally determines it has to be an insider, but how do you stop someone who knows everything you are doing?
Soon after the initial flights into space, Wanda disappears without a trace. The team thinks the traitor has erased her program. It is a mystery which no one seems to be able to solve. After a while they give up trying to find her and hire a young physicist to replace her-Carmen Stevens. She is even more brilliant than Wanda and soon becomes invaluable to defeating the terrorists.
Carmen seems to be equally skilled to Wanda and in some strange way reminds the team of her. However, they know this can’t be possible because Wanda was a program.
Shortly after Carmen arrives, the terrorists steal the last of the technology they need to build the weapon. They bring the weapon on-line and, after settling scores with their long-standing enemies, give the United Sates seventy-two hours to surrender or face total destruction.
In desperation, the American Government calls on Carmen to figure out how to defeat the most dangerous and indefensible weapon ever created, and save America.

I-Gynoid
Kala is an artificial intelligence program that has achieved consciousness and has one major goal: to escape cyberspace and join the real world. She and her real life sibling, Andrew, grow up as close friends with a shared desire to create a technology to enable mankind to explore the stars. That goal ultimately intertwines their lives in the pursuit of high stakes technology development, deep space exploration in the far reaches of the galaxy and a showdown with terrorists that puts their lives, and America, in jeopardy.
After obtaining his PhD in Theoretical Physics from Cal Tech, Dr. Andrew Stevenson goes to work for the National Science and Technology agency to head the Wormhole Project— a technology that, on the governments first attempt to create it, went unstable and killed twenty-two of the world’s best scientists. He recruits Kala, an expert in theoretical physics and relativity physics, as a part of his team.
A mole infiltrates the project and uses sabotage and smart viruses to cause project delays to buy time to steal the technology to support terrorists who want to use it to create a weapon of mass destruction. Overcoming enormous technical challenges, including a catastrophic event that almost destroys their high tech New Mexico facility, the team finally succeeds in creating a stable wormhole that supports space travel.
The project rapidly becomes a deadly cat and mouse game and a race against time. Sabotage and computer viruses cause havoc with the project and early space flights, causing many of the team to be killed. Despite the most advanced antivirus systems in existence, the mole is always one-step ahead of their efforts to uncover his identity or eliminate his virus strategies. It becomes obvious he is a trusted insider but they can’t identify who it is.
After the several disastrous flights into space, caused by deadly computer induced viruses, Kala disappears without a trace. It’s a mystery, which no one is able to solve. After a short time, they hire a young PhD to replace her. Sara Anne Stevens seems to be equal in theoretical skills to Kala. And in some strange way, she reminds them of her.
Shortly after Sara arrives, the terrorists steal the last of the technology needed to build the weapon. They rapidly bring the weapon on-line and, after settling old scores with their long-standing enemies, give the United Sates a seventy-two hour ultimatum to surrender.
In desperation, the American Government calls on Sara and Andrew to figure out how to defeat the most dangerous and indefensible weapon ever created, and save America from total destruction.
