Overview: Entites are greater beings policing the galaxy in search of stars on the brink of destruction. Always racing to harvest enough light to replenish a sun’s finality, the amazing light reapers collect precious beam energies and contain them into thin radiant strands called “starfire pickets.”
Starfire is the key to a sun’s salvation, and normally the voiders rescue failing balls of fire by “re-seeding” the core with a generous supply of starfire pickets. In turn, the sun’s refilled life gives several decades or even centuries of time for a thriving culture to evolve their technology to a point of self-serving salvation. In other words, with enough time, an entire population can save itself either by searching for a new home world, or by learning to live without their sun because of their evolved knowledge.
For ages the ultimate secret society has thrived as invisible saviors to countless worlds without detection. The rules abruptly change however when the greatest of the light harvesters, the wolf of legend, is framed for the most abhorrent crime within the Entite province.
Ze’ev Vasuman, the wolf and recognized shadow god to all Entites, must vindicate his long-standing heroic name by winning the greatest arena contest the voiders have ever witnessed. Earth, Nepenthe, and the world of the great shadow cats face complete destruction unless the wolf can miraculously find a way to save the dying star Volstaire.
Ze’ev faces not only an outraged race of super beings, but is on the brink of unlocking astonishing secrets to some of the most feared mysteries the Entites keep only in whispers.
Gods can die too, and as time races to a critical stage, only one will survive the dangerous road to redemption.
