Overview: In Threads: The Jumper we meet Eddie, a man who has lost everything; his wife, job and now about to lose his home, the worst place he's ever lived in. An alcoholic with no money to buy his next drink, and unable to find even the barest reprieve from his situation through sleep he must find another way to quiet the cravings he has no way to satisfy and turns to mediation as his last resort. Eddie does in fact fall asleep while meditating but wakes to find he is no longer in his dilapidated apartment but in a better home, with a wife and a job. This could have been a happy ending except for the fact that there are rules which govern our existence and by violating those rules that keep us bound in the lives in which we were born, Eddie now has a dark force coming for him.
