Overview: Henrik Rohdin lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, dog and cat, and enjoys spending hours reading about history, particularly the Cold War. In addition to his novels, Henrik contributes to the Alternative History Wiki (Althistory), where he has been recognized as Writer of the Year three years in a row by his peers. Henrik has also directed and produced a short documentary film about a World War II veteran that has been featured by the National Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.

The Gunmetal Witches (#1) If a job offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is - if only veteran spacer Chad "Gunny" Gunderson had stopped to consider that. Against his better instincts, Gunny accepts a half-million credits from the bewitching, beautiful Dr. Mallory Temple and signs up for a secretive security mission escorting a research team to a dusty ball of rock on the edge of charted space.
An act of sabotage and betrayal forces Gunny and Mallory to crash land on the harsh desert world of Qadic, hundreds of miles from their destination and butting heads with each other while at the mercy of not only the planet's elements but also its legions of eclectic and deadly residents. To try to get off of Qadic alive, they have to navigate bloodthirsty alien pirates, ruthless slave traders, trigger-happy corporate security, the saboteurs from their own crew, and worst of all, the widely feared Gunmetal Witches and their leader, the Ice Queen, who has taken a particular interest in Mallory's research.
With supplies dwindling, sandstorms swirling and every gun on Qadic blazing, Gunny and Mallory have to put aside their differences and work together to try to complete her mission - if they don't just kill each other first.
Red Eagle (#2) A signal no Alliance Navy captain wants to send and no spaceman wants to hear; a signal indicating that a Navy vessel has been boarded and seized by hostile forces.
Accidentally seized in a black operation and brought aboard the destroyer Liverpool, greenhorn spacer Chad "Gunny" Gunderson finds himself alone and outgunned, trapped between the ruthless pirates who have taken the ship and the Navy crew holed up in the bridge. As the pirates and spacemen go to war and the bodies pile up in the Liverpool's halls, Gunny must use his wits to stay alive and fight back, before the boarders can carry out their ruthless mission.
