Its citizens still keep the old ways, observing the cycles of nature and communing with forces beyond the veil: The Fair Folk, a race of supernatural beings whose rumored presence in Kylebeg seems disconcertingly close.
Una just wants out of this weird place. But no one in Kylebeg is willing to cut her loose easily—especially not Ailill, the compellingly gorgeous, strangely haunted musician who inhabits not only the town’s pubs and pastures, but Una’s dreams, too. As the world around her turns more mystical—and more dangerous—Una wonders whether it’s truly Kylebeg that holds a Fae secret, or whether it’s the blood flowing in her own veins.
Cage of Thorn (#2) Una's foolish mistake sends Ailill to the Otherworld in her place. Now she must don the blackthorn crown and venture alone into the fairy realm, to correct her error and bring Ailill home safely.
But in the Otherworld, Una is not only the guest of the Seelie Court--she's also their last remaining hope. As the mystery of what haunts Ailill is revealed, Una must choose between loyalty to her kin, and newfound love... and must find a way to stop a great evil from destroying the Seelie Court and the human realm with one devastating blow.
