Overview: If you look into humanity, it might stare right back.Cross-Town's Sheriff Sam Hackman, struggles against an alien invasion. He endeavors to keep his small Arizonian town safe, while all around, animals perish, electricity fails, insomnia spreads and Cross-Towners are suddenly intoxicated, crazed, fully armed and incited one against the other. An aliens' world nears destruction; they crave Earth. They choose Cross-Town as a representation of Earth, in order to study how to incite man against himself. Key Cross-Towners will represent world countries equipped with WMDs. Will humanity's psychological nature, erratic behavior and addictions, its never ending wars and nuclear paranoia--be its salvation, or its ultimate downfall?
