But way down deep. Down in the cerebral cortex where we keep the bits and pieces we still share with the lizards and rats,they all knew. The rat brain was screaming,get out get out right now.
Something immense and alien was lurking just out of sight. He had the feeling that if he just looked the right way,lined up the facts in the right order or maybe just glanced at the right time out of the corner of his eyes it would reveal it's self. Perhaps if he remained perfectly still and really concentrated he might hear ...what?
