The Shift lasted less than a second, but the global amnesia it left behind brought civilization to the brink of destruction. Planes fell from the sky as the minds of average citizens were wiped clean, transforming some into terrified children and others into savage killers. A handful of survivors, largely unaffected by The Shift, manages to claw its way out of the ashes. Among them, a man chasing a past best left forgotten. A Coast Guard sailor in pursuit of a ruthless murderer. And two children who aren't what they seem. Together, they'll head west, struggling for survival, desperate to find a sanctuary from the horrors of this terrible new world. Someone somewhere must know what happened.
