#12 - Time Strike
The New Terran Empire is still trying to recover from the Ca’cadasan strike that left over three hundred million dead and ripped the heart out of the ship production of Central Docks.

The Donut, the huge station in orbit around the Supersystem black hole, was almost destroyed in that strike, and its defenses have been strengthened considerably.

That Caca strike didn’t do all they had wanted, but it had hurt the Empire’s war making capabilities.

The Ca’cadasans are at it again, with a two-pronged attack on the Empire. Sean has to decide, and quickly, how his fleet is to counter this move. The fleet, short of resources, could use the almost thousand ships destroyed and damaged in the enemy strike. And Sean would give his soul to get his heir, killed in the Caca strike, back. The lure of changing time, something he learns is very possible, beckons. Despite the warning that time travel was the undoing of the Ancients who had once ruled his sector of space. But the Ancients are not extinct, and they will do whatever they can to prevent the humans from disrupting the time stream and destroying their own race. Even if it means destroying the one weapon the humans have that might win their war of extermination against the Ca’cadasan Empire. They will try to prevent the Time Strike with their last resources, with their lives.

#13 - Retaliation
The Caca offensive into the New Terran Empire is on its last legs, and the Imperial Fleets and those of its Allies are on the move.
The Cacas have new technologies themselves, and new tactics to go along with them, and they are determined to keep the humans out of their space, battling through the territories they have captured from the human and Fenri Empires

Admirals Lenkowski and Mgonda are in the lead of the two largest fleets in the history of the Perseus Arm. Tens of thousands of vessels, tens of millions of people. Those people are ready for the fight of their lives in space, while the soldiers of Field Marshal Baggett and Brigadier Walborski are prepared to contest the worlds the Cacas control. The trillions of Caca slaves are hungering for freedom, and they are prepared to give their lives so that their people might control their own destinies. Desperate people can take desperate measures. And that includes the Ca'cadasans. Their young Emperor has ordered that they will give their lives willingly to destroy the invaders. While Sean has launched an audacious attack on the center of the Caca Empire, with the intention of cutting off the head of the snake and winning the war. Plans don't always work, since both sides have them, and when they come into conflict many variables can tilt the balance

The saga continues, as two enormous Empires fight for survival across thousands of light years.

#14 - Rebellion
The New Terran Empire and their alliance is rolling the Ca'cadasans back on all fronts. The end may still be years ahead, but the writting is on the wall for the Ca'cadasan Empire.

But the Cacas have come up with a plan, based around a new terror weapon developed by their alien scientists. Their own Church considers it an abomination, a weapon that kills star systems, but the young Emperor, Jresstratta V, is determined to let nothing stop him from punishing the humans and their allies.

Sean and the leaders of his fleets are determined to strike deeper into the enemy empire, liberating billions of slaves along the way, including their Maurid allies. The enemy threatens their own helpless subjects, knowing that the humans will come their aid. They hope to destroy entire human fleets with each ambush. But the humans, who value loyalty both ways with the people they support, are not willing to let the helpless die, while also not putting their own necks on the chopping block. They have the people to carry out their plans and save those they have come to liberate.

It is a risk, but sometimes those are necessary, and they have a plan. But plans don't always work out to the satisfaction of the planners, and failure here could lead to the Cacas changing the balance of power, and reversing the course of the war. However, the Ca'cadasan Emperor faces another problem, as the Church of his people dispute his right to kill so many, and sets up a showdown that could bring down the Empire upon his head,

#15 - All Quiet on the Second Front?
Beata Bednarczyk has taken care of the Machines, the mistake from the Empire's past.
She was to be rewarded with a promotion and assignment to the main front, fighting alongside the senior commanders of the fleet. She received the promotion, but assignments have a way of changing.

Things have changed on the Second Front, the war of the genetically engineered humans and the Cacas. The Klavarta, as they are called, have held their own against the Cacas, even pushing into the imperial space of the big aliens. They have been preparing for another push. The commander of the New Terran Empire forces on loan was killed in battle, and Sean had need of a senior commander to take that officer's place. Someone with the rank to command respect. Beata got the assignment, despite her lack of diplomatic acumen. A major command of her own, befitting a six star flag officer. The only problem was her placement under the command of the senior Klavarta admiral, an arrogant Alpha who doesn't trust the Imperials, and especially has no reason to trust the new human officer. Beata finds herself in a political quagmire, up to her neck in intrigue she is ill prepared to deal with.

Added to the problems is the attitudes of the Klavarta, beings who had been raised as xenophobes by their former deposed masters. Deeply ingrained attitudes don't disappear overnight, and while most are willing to change their behavior, some refuse to see the truth. Including the supreme commander of their fleet. The Cacas have not been sitting still, waiting for the next Klavarta/human attack. A new commander has been assigned to the front, a Ca'cadasan of exceptional intelligence and unwavering conviction. He has a plan to ambush the next Klavarta offensive, forging into their territory after defeating their fleet. If he succeeds it may be up to one human admiral to stop him. If that is even possible.

#16 - The Shield
No One Said That Fighting the Cacas Would Be Easy. But They Didn't Mention It Would Be Necessary to Fight Your Own Side.

The Ca'cadasans are set to finally destroy the allied fleet on the Nation of New Earth Front. But Beata Bednarczyk will not go out easily.

Grand Fleet Admiral Bednarczyk is finally the master of her own destiny, the supreme commander of the allied fleet, though her sword has been blunted by the last campaign. Still, she has everything her Empire can give her, including some untested tech that could salvage the front. Still, she is saddled with the incompetent Klavarta Alpha Admiral Klanarat, the spacer in charge of the New Earth contingent and the man who had almost lost the front in one battle. Balancing political considerations has never been the admiral's strong suit, but with an alliance of alien races who still don't trust each other she has her work cut out for her.

Great Admiral Mrastaran Hlrata has a clear directive from his Emperor. Close with the enemy fleet and crush it. His ships are needed on the other front, but that will only happen if the enemy here is totally destroyed. Intelligent and well read, he is the best commander the Ca’cadasans can commit to the front. He had a clear plan as well, one that was changed by the immature Emperor who wants to set up a system as a trap for the enemy. Ordered to destroy a planet and its evolutionary lines, acting against his own principles, the admiral is on a timetable set by the young male who knows nothing about military matters. His life on the line, surrounded by males who would like nothing better than to see him fall, the Philosopher Admiral finds himself the one in the trap. And he will do what is necessary to protect his own sons, no matter the personal cost.

The Empire has developed a tech they believe will protect the endangered planet from the power of a nova. But only one thing in the known galaxy can produce the energy needed to power it. The Donut is going to war, projecting its own energy across thousands of light years of space. And putting the station and its wormhole producing capacity at risk. Sean has never been one to shy from taking risks, but will this decision come back to hit him in the heart? Can the Empire win this fight, or will a Caca who thinks before he acts find a way to victory, despite the interference of the Emperor who seems committed to making his every subject angry with him?

#17 - The Rebirth
It's hard to fight an intelligent opponent. As Sean's Empire is finding out.

The Ca'cadans were often their own worst enemy, making mistake after mistake on their way to eventual defeat. Now someone who can think is in charge, and things have changed.

Mrastaran I had never wanted to be Emperor of an Empire in decline. The admiral had wanted to finish out his carreer and retire to a life of reading and contemplation. Known as the Philosopher Admiral, Mrastaran thought his moves out ahead and adjusted to the situation. This dangerous leader is now in charge of the Ca'cadasan Empire, and he realizes that a standard victory is no longer possible. Taking a page from Earth history, the male has decided that using hit and run tactics and the immensity of his Empire is the way to force the alliance to the bargaining table. If only he can hurt the alliance hard enough to make them war weary. Starting with driving a wedge between the members of the alliance by targeting the alien powers.

Sean has his work cut out for him, keeping the alliance on track to finish the war. He doesn't want to give the Cacas a break, since a rebuilt enemy will remain a threat. Fortunately the industry and technology of his Empire is still churning out the muscle to continue the fight. But only if they can keep up the pressure.
