Overview: David was born in California. From a young age, his Mother would read to him before bed. That, along with a love of TV and movies, led to him wanting to create stories of his own.
What started as long afternoons spent waging war with GI Joe and Power Rangers action figures turned into on going, outrageously cinematic, and over the top story arcs for characters he had created.
While attending Bethany University, David found a love of good writing and dreamed to one day try his hand at being a professional writer. He completed his first novel in 2011, which he admits was overly awful.
In 2016, he self-published Double Barreled Devilry. He hopes to spend his years writing many more stories that people will enjoy. In the meantime, he will be busy writing, being a husband, and a dog dad to three French Bulldogs: Sawyer, Gordon, and Frank.

Deckland Cain was one of the greatest Demon Hunters who ever lived. Then, in a moment of desperation, he sold his soul to one.
His life's been going to Hell ever since.
Broke, desperate, and probably drunk, Deckland owes half a million bucks to his former mob boss employer, Balthazar Reznik. After a creature kidnaps Balthazar's daughter, he calls in the debt. Deckland is told to find Balthazar’s daughter, the Hellion who took her, and the Warlock who summoned it up from the Hell. Do that, and the debt between them is settled.
Things are never that easy when you are dealing with the forces of Heaven and Hell. As it turns out, Deckland may just be the world’s only hope for survival.

Deckland Cain just wants to be left alone. He’s already saved the world from a Demon invasion once. Isn’t that enough to earn a man a little peace and quiet?
Unfortunately for Deckland, things go to Hell when he finds himself in the middle of pack of Vampires, a missing girl, and a Priest on a secret mission from the Pope.
He should be keeping his head down, but before he can, he’s got to figure out a way to survive the week
